Benue: Troops rescue 14 kidnap victims Orokam forest

Troops from the Nigerian Army’s Joint Task Force, Sector One, Operation Udo Ka, collaborating with the Neighbourhood Watch, rescued 14 kidnap victims in Orokam Forest. The successful operation took place on Friday afternoon, following intelligence that located a kidnappers’ camp.

The rescue involved a brief gunfight where criminals fled, leaving the 14 victims unharmed. These individuals were abducted from Ezimo Agu and Orokam communities. They have since been reunited with their families via the Udenu Division police.
