The Borno State Police Command rescued two boys, aged four and five, after they were kidnapped in the Jere Local Government Area. The abductors demanded a N10 million ransom for their release.
Police ambushed the ransom collection point, prompting the suspects to flee and abandon the children. The boys were reunited with their family unharmed, and authorities have launched a manhunt for the kidnappers.
