Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has dismissed Mr. Michael Ango as Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service. This decision, announced Friday, is effective immediately, with no reasons publicly disclosed.
Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications, confirmed the removal. The most senior FCT-IRS official is now directed to take charge of the revenue agency.
