The Federal Government has released N3.7 billion under the Tertiary Institutions Staff Support Fund (TISSF) to workers in tertiary institutions. The Ministry of Education views this as a significant step towards fulfilling welfare pledges by the Tinubu administration.
This initial tranche benefits approximately 2,000 staff members across 43 institutions. The TISSF, a key part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, supports both academic and non-academic personnel in the education sector.
