The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, has announced the judiciary’s Christmas vacation. The break will run from Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to Friday, January 9, 2026, with courts reopening January 12.
While all judicial divisions will be closed, the Chief Judge has designated a vacation judge to handle urgent applications and matters that may arise during the holiday period, ensuring continuous access to justice.
