Okitipupa Local Government Area Chairman, Andrew Ogunsakin, received administrative bail from the Nigeria Police Force after his detention. He was held at Force Headquarters concerning allegations of criminal trespass and threatening behavior.
Ogunsakin’s arrest followed a petition from Dr. Anthony Aduro of Aduro Farms, who accused the chairman of unlawfully encroaching on his land in Okitipupa. Ogunsakin was released on Wednesday, December 3.
