Oladapo Afeni has assumed duty as the new Area Comptroller for the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun 1 Area Command, in Idiroko. His appointment follows the transfer of his predecessor, Godwin Otunla, to the Murtala Muhammed Airport Command.
Afeni committed to promoting legitimate trade along the borders. He also pledged to consolidate gains in trade facilitation, revenue collection, and anti-smuggling, while prioritizing personnel welfare and inter-agency cooperation.
