Akure North Local Government Area Chairman, Mr. Johnson Ogunbolude, appealed to traditional rulers for support in combating insecurity. This appeal followed the distribution of official vehicles to monarchs, aimed at boosting local security surveillance and response.
The initiative addresses previous attacks by suspected armed men that killed over 20 farmers in four communities. Ogunbolude affirmed commitment to resident welfare, confirming additional security measures and an Elderly Welfare Scheme are underway.
