Trump, Rwanda, Congo leaders finalize Africa peace accords

President Donald Trump met with leaders from Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo to finalize the Washington Accords. This peace treaty aims to conclude longstanding conflicts in Africa, establishing peace and stability in the region.

The Accords detail provisions for refugee return, disarmament, and justice for past atrocities. Efforts towards this peace process have received support from the African Union, Qatar, and other states since early this year.
