The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has honored William Troost-Ekong following his retirement from international duty. The 32-year-old defender announced his departure from the Super Eagles on social media Thursday.
Troost-Ekong’s decade-long career with Nigeria included 83 appearances. He was named Player of the Tournament and included in the team of the competition at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
