China has pledged continued support for Nigeria’s rail transit intelligence control system, reinforcing a commitment to mutual benefit. This comes after a three-week International Seminar on Rail Transit Intelligence Control System in Beijing and Suzhou, where Nigerian participants gained practical experience. Umar Usman of FUT Daura confirmed the deal, expected to boost Nigeria’s transport sector.
CRSC International’s Deputy General Manager, Yin Yungong, promised full assistance for future technical challenges and outlined plans for a Joint Intelligent Control Research Centre next year. This initiative follows an August 2025 agreement involving CRSCI, Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Transportation, and FUT Daura, aiming for collaborative projects like the Abuja-Kaduna Railway upgrade.
