Dumebi Kachikwu, a former presidential candidate, urged President Bola Tinubu to publicly identify sponsors of Nigeria’s security crisis. Speaking in Abuja, Kachikwu insisted the era of secrecy must end, highlighting years of bloodshed without clarity on those fueling violence.
Kachikwu called for accountability, stating, “Surely you owe it to our people to expose and prosecute them if they are known.” He also endorsed state policing, arguing Nigeria needs to decentralize its security response given the ongoing crisis.
