The Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing former deputy governor Mukhtar Anka as the state Coordinator for the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI). The appointment was announced by Yusuf Idris, the state APC Publicity Secretary, who highlighted Anka’s past service from 2007 to 2011.
Idris described Anka’s selection as “most appropriately placed,” noting his respected status within the party and the state. The APC expressed confidence that Anka’s leadership and ability to mobilize support would be crucial, especially with the 2027 general elections on the horizon.
