Bandits killed Islamic cleric Alhaji Muhammad Bakoshi in Toro, Bauchi State, and abducted his wife who gave birth just two weeks ago and their daughter, in a pre-dawn raid.
In a brutal attack in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, bandits killed Alhaji Muhammad Bakoshi, Discipline Officer of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Zalau and abducted his wife, who had just given birth two weeks earlier, along with their daughter.
The raid, which took place in the early hours of Saturday, has left the community in shock and grief, heightening fears over persistent insecurity in the area. As of the report, the Bauchi Police Command has not issued an official response.
