United Nigeria Airlines has confirmed that an altercation broke out between two passengers during the boarding of Flight UN0523 at Asaba International Airport on the morning of 17 November 2025.
The individuals involved were identified as Martins Vincent Otse, known online as “VeryDarkMan,” and Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly called “Mr. Jollof.”
In a statement, the airline’s Public Relations Officer Chibuike Uloka, said crew members acted “immediately and professionally” to de‑escalate the situation in line with global aviation safety protocols. Both passengers were removed from the aircraft without delay to ensure the safety and comfort of the remaining passengers and crew.
