In policy shift, UK permits foreign students to switch to innovator founder visa without leaving country
International students in the United Kingdom will be eligible for an Innovator Founder visa without having to leave the country after meeting certain requirements.
The idea was floated in a bulky 82-page immigration White Paper released in May and was approved last month.
The pathway replaces a similar provision that previously applied to those switching into the start-up route, which is now closed to new applications.
