Photographer banned from US Open after court invasion sparks Medvedev meltdown

Photographer banned from the US Open after triggering a 7-minute delay by stepping onto the court.

The cameraman was reportedly trying to leave after Benjamin Bonzi missed his first serve.

Chair umpire Greg Allensworth then gave Bonzi another first serve, prompting Daniil Medvedev to have a meltdown and rile up the crowd.

“Are you a man? Are you a man? Why are you shaking? What’s wrong, huh? Guys, he wants to leave. He gets paid by the match, not by the hour,” Medvedev shouted into the camera.

Medvedev ended up losing despite being the clear favorite to win. He was seen having a tantrum after the match, slamming his racket into the bench.
