Nasarawa assembly member lists empowerment projects, hires 106 aides

Nasarawa lawmaker Musa Gude has appointed 106 aides, citing inclusive leadership, empowerment, and improved service delivery for his constituency

Musa Gude, a member representing Uke/Karshi constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has appointed 106 aides to assist him in serving his people. Speaking in Lafia, the state capital, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) lawmaker said the decision was aimed at both enhancing service delivery and improving the welfare of the aides and their families.

“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000, and N10,000, respectively,” Gude stated.

He explained that the gesture reflected his commitment to inclusive leadership and socioeconomic empowerment. Gude also highlighted his efforts in providing boreholes, paying Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) fees for students, and supporting health, agriculture, and infrastructure projects.

“I have done my best… I have also empowered many constituents to enable them to become self-reliant,” he added, assuring continued quality representation and urging peace and unity.
