Fayose added that younger artistes own private jets, implying KWAM 1 should consider one if unwilling to follow commercial flight procedures.
Businessman and social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has weighed in on the recent clash between Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, and a ValueJet pilot during boarding on Tuesday.
In a video posted on Instagram, Fayose suggested that if the pilot had been Igbo, “people would have said Peter Obi sent him,” alleging that ethnicity often fuels political interpretations in Nigeria. He described the country as “lawless” and populated by “arrogant people” who disregard rules.
Fayose added that younger artistes own private jets, implying KWAM 1 should consider one if unwilling to follow commercial flight procedures.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw criticised the incident, questioning why the singer was seen standing close to an aircraft with closed doors and running engines, citing aviation safety concerns.
