Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi is reportedly in advanced talks with two Premier League clubs as questions surround his future at San Siro.
Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri told talkSPORT that Al Hilal have offered Inzaghi £25m per season, but “the priority for him is to stay at Inter.”
Palmeri also confirmed contact with Tottenham and Newcastle, though he revealed Inzaghi rejected Liverpool and Manchester United last year. Despite reaching his second Champions League final in three years, Inzaghi is reportedly frustrated.
“For the whole four years he hasn’t had a proper transfer window,” Palmeri said. “He’s been saying, ‘After we lose I’m blamed… give me a proper transfer window.’”
A meeting is expected on Tuesday with Inter’s board, where Inzaghi will request transfer assurances. Meanwhile, Saudi club Al Hilal continue their pursuit after parting with Jorge Jesus and losing Neymar ahead of the Club World Cup.
