JAMB offers retake option to candidates who missed rescheduled 2025 UTME

Candidates who missed the rescheduled 2025 UTME for genuine reasons can now file complaints and request new exam slots, JAMB has said.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates who missed the rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to lodge formal complaints via its support platform.

In a post on its official X handle on Friday, JAMB advised affected candidates to raise a ticket at [support.jamb.gov.ng](http://support.jamb.gov.ng), explaining their absence and preferred exam location.

“Did you miss your scheduled examination for a genuine reason? Kindly raise a ticket to that effect… stating why you missed the session and where you’d prefer to rewrite the exam,” the board stated.

JAMB also introduced a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC) to handle urgent concerns, in addition to its digital ticketing platform, which it described as the most effective channel for communication.

The board had earlier rescheduled exams for May 16–18 at 157 centres across Lagos and the South East due to glitches. Registrar Ishaq Oloyede assured that timetable clashes would be addressed fairly.
