FG, states, LGs share N1.681 trn from April 2025 FAAC allocation

According to the communiqué, gross statutory revenue of N2,084.568 trillion was received for the month of April 2025. 

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of N1.681 trillion as April 2025 revenue among the Federal, State, and Local Governments. The allocation was made at the May 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja. The distributable revenue comprised N962.882 billion statutory revenue, N598.077 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT), N38.862 billion from Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), and N81.407 billion from exchange difference.

A communiqué issued by FAAC indicated that total gross revenue available in April stood at N2.848 trillion. Of this, N101.051 billion was deducted for collection costs, while N1.066 trillion was allocated for transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings. Gross statutory revenue rose by N365.595 billion compared to March.

According to FAAC, “the Federal Government received N565.307 billion and State Governments received N556.741 billion” from the N1.681 trillion total distributable revenue. VAT collections also saw a modest increase of N4.647 billion from March figures.
