President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to reconstruct the Warri-Sapele-Benin road. NDDC Managing Director Samuel Ogbuku confirmed the directive, which followed an inspection by the Minister of Works, David Umahi. The dilapidated state of the road has caused significant hardship and effectively isolated communities. Reconstruction is set to begin soon.
