The Minister of Works, David Umahi, projects significant gains in security, agriculture, and commerce with the Trans-Saharan superhighway’s completion. Speaking in Abakaliki after inspecting section two of the 300-kilometer project, Umahi emphasized improved connectivity across Benue, Enugu, and Ebonyi. Despite funding challenges, he affirmed continuity of work based on available resources, targeting a 2031 completion.
