Troops rescue kidnap victim, recover AK-47 rifle in Kogi

Troops from the 2 Division Nigerian Army have rescued a 28-year-old kidnap victim in Kogi State, recovering an AK-47 rifle. The victim, abducted five weeks ago from the FCT, escaped and provided information leading troops to the kidnappers’ location. The criminals fled, abandoning the weapon. The victim is receiving medical attention as the army pursues the suspects.
