The Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is intensifying, with cases rapidly spreading across six provinces. As of Wednesday, the DRC reported 4,665 confirmed cases and 2,184 deaths, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO). This outbreak has become the country’s largest, extending from the Mongbwalu health zone to 54 health zones across multiple provinces, raising significant public health concerns.
