Civil Society Organisations have urged the Bola Tinubu administration to cease using federal agencies for intimidation against the Osun State government led by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
This comes after the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) froze the state government’s account, citing concerns over potential looting of public funds through suspicious transfers. Critics, like Kenny Bakare of the Civil Liberties Organisation, decried the action as undemocratic and a tactic by the APC to gain control of the state.
