Zamfara Abduction Foiled
Nigerian troops of Fansan Yamma foiled a mass abduction attempt in Zamfara State’s Unguwar Rogo Village on Sunday. Nine people, including an infant, were rescued from terrorists believed to be led by Mallam Shuaibu. The operation’s spokesman, Aliyu Danja, confirmed the incident on Monday, noting the attack might be reprisal for recent arrests of terrorist collaborators.
