Wanted Soldier Caught Fleeing to Cameroon
The Nigerian Army confirmed the arrest of Private Mohammed Yusuf, a soldier declared wanted for allegedly supplying military gear to terrorists. Troops apprehended Yusuf at Jidari Bus Stop, Maiduguri, as he attempted to escape to Cameroon. Investigations show he absconded from his unit on July 7, 2026, and went into hiding.
