PREMIUM TIMES investigative journalist Chinagorom Ugwu has clinched the 2026 Solution Journalism Award at BudgIT and CivicHive’s Active Citizens Awards. The award recognizes his exposé on the certificate forgery scandal involving the former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji. The investigation revealed forged university and NYSC certificates, leading to the minister’s resignation and subsequent arraignment.
