The House of Representatives has declared the appointment letter of the alleged Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) as fake. The House committee investigating the council’s operations found discrepancies in the signature presented by Adeniyi Adeyemi. The Head of Service, Didi Walson-Jack, testified before the committee, admitting that the council’s establishment Act was also not authentic.
The committee, led by Yusuf Gagdi, revealed that police forensic examination corroborated their findings, confirming the appointment letter’s signature did not match genuine correspondence from the Chief of Staff to the President. The alleged establishment Act also lacked essential authentication features of a National Assembly Act.
