Adeleke Declares Tuesday Work-Free for PVC Collection
Time off, but for a good reason. According to Daily Post Nigeria, Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared Tuesday a work-free day for all categories of public servants in Osun State to enable them collect their PVCs ahead of the governorship election.
The directive, issued via a circular by Head of Service Elder Ayanleye Aina, covers civil servants, local government workers and tertiary institution staff, though essential service providers like healthcare workers and security operatives are required to make internal arrangements to maintain service delivery.
Adeleke also urged all registered voters, including those outside the public service, to collect their PVCs without delay, saying, “Your vote is your power.”
