Nigeria has launched local production of advanced dual-active ingredient insecticide-treated mosquito nets, bolstering malaria prevention and domestic healthcare manufacturing. The new facility, Health Textiles Nigeria FZE, is the first of its kind in the country and will produce WHO-prequalified PermaNet Dual nets to combat insecticide resistance. The factory aims to produce 10 million nets annually and create over 600 jobs.
