The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is urging young innovators to create affordable, scalable tech solutions to break down barriers for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the digital economy. At the NCC Hackathon in Abuja, themed “Technology Without Barriers,” NCC official Rimini Makama highlighted the obstacles PWDs face in accessing essential services. The commission seeks practical, accessible, and user-friendly technologies tailored to Nigerians’ needs, aiming to boost economic participation for all.
