Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya is extending her lead in the Nigerian Bar Association presidential election, positioning herself to potentially become the association’s first female president. As of Saturday evening, she had secured 10,554 votes, representing 46.16% of the ballots counted.
Her closest rivals, Lateef Akangbe, SAN, and Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, trailed with 7,020 and 5,289 votes, respectively. The ongoing tally shows Badejo-Okusanya with a lead of over 3,500 votes.
