Alex Iwobi’s father has denied reports that the Fulham midfielder was burgled, describing the claims as false and confirming the player is safe and has travelled to Turkey for international friendlies.
The father of Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi has dismissed reports claiming the Fulham F.C. player was a victim of a violent burglary at his residence. In a clarification shared by former Super Eagles media officer Colin Udoh, Chuka Iwobi described the circulating reports as false.
Udoh wrote, “I have just spoken to Chuka Iwobi, and he says there is absolutely no truth to reports that his son @alexiwobi was burgled.”
Quoting him further, he added: “Alex is fine and there was absolutely no attempt to burgle his house. He left for Turkey this morning in preparation for the friendlies.”
