The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied altering the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) party list. INEC stated that the listed candidates were submitted by the NDC, signed by their national leadership, and that the commission has no authority to change party nominations.
This response comes after the NDC accused INEC of removing their nominated candidates and replacing them with unauthorized names in Anambra and Benue states.
