Former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa announced 1.6 million tertiary students are now benefiting from the Federal Government’s National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). Speaking in Asaba, Okowa noted many beneficiaries initially dismissed NELFUND as a scam. He urged Nigerians to embrace the scheme, touting it as a critical reform by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
