Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, issued a seven-day decree of divine retribution against bandits and their sponsors during a Sunday service at the church’s headquarters in Ota.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, declared a week of divine judgment upon bandits and their sponsors during a “Covenant Day of Vengeance” service held Sunday at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State. Asserting that God’s intervention in Nigeria’s security crisis was imminent, the cleric proclaimed, “Except I am not sent, in the next seven days, I declare judgment upon those responsible for these disasters and their sponsors in Jesus’ name.” Oyedepo combined his prophetic warnings with a call for spiritual sanctification, advising congregants that ungodliness “blocks supernatural breakthroughs and stains destiny,” while maintaining that “until the God of vengeance shows up, the wicked will not give up.” The cleric concluded by stating that the coming week would be defined by “testimonies of vengeance” as a result of divine retribution against those behind the nation’s kidnappings and killings.
