Peter Obi has alleged that the government is deliberately frustrating his activities and targeting opposition figures, saying he might not survive to contest the 2027 presidential election.
Obi: I May Not Survive to 2027
Peter Obi has dropped a chilling claim — he says he may not live to contest 2027. The NDC presidential hopeful made the remarks in an interview on With Chude, posted by Chude Jideonwo on X Wednesday, according to Punch.
Obi alleged constant, deliberate obstruction: “Every single thing I do for a living, this government is frustrating it,” he said, describing an airport incident where officials locked his car while ignoring others parked nearby.
He claimed opposition figures are being personally targeted, with acquaintances now avoiding him publicly out of fear, and supporters even asking him to skip family events like weddings.
Obi offered no evidence for his claims. The Federal Government had not responded as of filing.
