Daily Post reports that filling stations across Nigeria have again reduced fuel prices, days after Dangote Refinery cut its own rates.
FUEL PRICE CUT AGAIN
Filling stations across the country have dropped fuel prices barely two days after Dangote Refinery reduced its rates.
According to Daily Post, a market survey found that stations including AA Rano, Ranoil and Nigerian Independent Petroleum Company in Abuja now sell petrol between ₦1,205 and ₦1,240 per litre, down from ₦1,300.
The adjustment follows Dangote Refinery’s move on Thursday to cut its petrol gantry price to ₦1,075 per litre, tracking falling crude prices. Dangote-backed MRS Filling and NNPCL had earlier reduced Abuja prices to ₦1,191 and ₦1,210 per litre respectively.
Despite repeated cuts, fuel prices have yet to fall below ₦1,000 per litre, the rate before the Middle East conflict escalated.
