NCS Seizes 399 Rifles at Tin Can Port
The Nigeria Customs Service recently uncovered 399 fully assembled Jojef firearms and various rifle parts during a detailed examination of a seized shipment at the Tin Can Island Port Command. NCS National Spokesperson Abdullahi Maiwada confirmed the discovery on Sunday in Abuja, highlighting that the components were concealed in a container. Comptroller-General Bashir Adeniyi warned of criminal exploitation ahead of upcoming general elections.
