APC returns 20 Kano Reps through consensus, holds four contested primaries

The APC in Kano confirmed 20 serving House of Representatives members secured their party tickets through consensus. Four constituencies held contested primaries, with Yusuf Badau winning in Bagwai/Shanono. State public relations officer, Auwalu Soja, stated the process was largely consensual, with only a few disagreements leading to elections, all conducted peacefully.
