Abia State has launched a five-day training for 4,074 new teachers. Governor Alex Otti, represented by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Goodluck Ubochi, opened the workshop in Umuahia. He emphasized teachers’ crucial role in educational reforms and highlighted the transparent, merit-based recruitment process. The training aims to equip the newly hired educators for their vital roles.
