FUOYE has suspended two students accused of cyberbullying its suspended SUG president by circulating details of his private life online.
FUOYE isn’t playing around. The university has suspended two students — Alao Iyanuoluwa Odunayo and Olawale Abiodun Samuel — over claims they cyberbullied suspended SUG president James Iyanuoluwa Adio by posting details of his private life online, allegedly after he failed to meet financial demands.
According to Punch, Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tajudeen Opoola said the university takes the matter seriously and won’t tolerate conduct that damages its reputation. Investigations continue, but both students stay suspended for now.
This comes days after Adio himself was suspended over alleged extortion, with ₦700,000 traced to his account linked to unauthorized fees from fresh students. A private video involving him later surfaced online, sparking national reaction.
