The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified two Rivers State House of Representatives members, Awaji Inombek Abiante and Boma Goodhead, from contesting party primaries. They, along with two other loyalists of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, were denied return tickets. Meanwhile, 21 other aspirants, including the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, were cleared to participate.
