The National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO) has linked over 12.3 million Nigerians to the National Social Register using their National Identification Numbers (NIN). This initiative aims to enhance transparency and credibility in social interventions, improve data integrity, and eliminate duplication. The National Social Register currently covers over 20 million households and 77 million individuals nationwide.
