ADC chieftain Simon Achuba claimed the PDP has a “branch” within the APC, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma ruled out rezoning of party offices before the APC convention.
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Simon Achuba, has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party has a “branch” within the ruling All Progressives Congress. Achuba made the remark on Monday during an appearance on Sunrise Daily on Channels Television, saying the APC’s actions were inadvertently helping opposition parties unite ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“All the APC is helping us achieve is bringing the opposition together. And whether the 36 governors of Nigeria get to the side of the APC, Nigerians are not there. Of course, the PDP has a branch in APC, which is obvious,” he said. Meanwhile, Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo State and chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, said the APC would not rezone party offices ahead of its convention.
