Posters bearing the image of former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi have surfaced across major streets in Kaduna, fuelling speculation about early political manoeuvring ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The posters describe him as “the only person to be trusted” and “the only man for the job”, with messages centred on unity and development.
Residents reported the posters at key locations, including Ahmadu Bello Way and areas around the Kaduna State Government House. The displays attracted noticeable attention from motorists and pedestrians, causing brief traffic disruptions near Kawo Bridge.
Amaechi, a former governor and minister, has not formally declared any candidacy. He previously contested the APC presidential primary in 2022, finishing second behind President Bola Tinubu.
