Kwara State Police seized 100 rounds of AK-47 live ammunition and arrested suspects linked to banditry and kidnapping. Commissioner Ojo Adekimi confirmed multiple arrests, including individuals intercepted with ammunition and charms on Gbugbu/Patigi road.
The arrests include driver Owolaramfe Rafiu and three others. This follows a doctor’s arrest for aiding kidnappers. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq plans to recruit 2,600 forest guards to combat insecurity in Kwara State.
